The FunCakes mix for Royal Icing is an icing that hardens completely. By adding water to the mixture, you will have a great icing to cover and decorate your cake. This royal icing can also be used for piping decorations and glazing cookies.
Preparation: Add 55 ml of water per 450 g of sifted mix for Royal Icing with a stiff consistency. Mix the icing for approx. 7-10 minutes on low speed to a stiff, white icing. The icing is ready when it is bright white, has lost its shine and you can pull peaks that don’t fall back. If using a hand-held mixer be careful that it does not jam! Tip: Add 1 teaspoon of water per 200 g of icing for medium consistency, or 2 teaspoons of water for thin consistency.
