Order processing times and delivery options


We deliver your orders throughout Switzerland (and Liechtenstein, excluding Büsingen, Campione d'Italia, Samnaun or any place requiring a special tariff or documents). Deliveries are made by Swiss Post, without a signature, except in special cases such as payment by Swissbilling or if the value of the parcel is high. Special requests (leaving the parcel with a neighbour, in the garage, etc.) must be communicated to your postman or your post office.

We prepare shipments from Monday to Friday. Orders placed and validated before 12.30pm are packed and dispatched the same day. Delivery times may vary around public holidays, depending on the availability of the Post Office or when special times are announced for the Genevacakes shop.


Once your order has been finalised, you will receive an automatic confirmation email (if you do not receive it, check the spam or spelling of the email you have entered). Once your payment has been confirmed (for the bank transfer option), you will receive a notification email and we will start preparing your parcel.

Please note that some made-to-measure products (printing, glitter names, etc.) may take longer to prepare. These are detailed in the product description. The weight is automatically calculated. On the site, the weight per order (for delivery by post) is limited to 29.9 kilos. Some products have an overestimated weight to represent their bulk.

If the parcel is small, the Post Office sometimes places it in the letterbox/milkbox. Some products (food printing, glitter name, etc.) are sent by A Mail in a cardboard envelope if they are ordered on their own (in this case, postage costs automatically amount to CHF 3.50). When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email confirming dispatch and, if applicable, a tracking number (which you can check the same evening).

Postage rates depend on the weight of the parcel. You will find below the prices for ECO or PRIO shipping according to weight:

This amount is confirmed in your basket before your order is submitted. Delivery is free from 150 CHF (please note: the value of your order will decrease when redeeming loyalty points).


Delivery methods


You can select your delivery method when finalising your order in your basket. Your chosen method will also be specified in your confirmation email.


Priority - Swiss Post

Enjoying fast delivery, PostPac Priority packages are normally delivered the next working day after despatch (Monday to Friday). Depending on the delivery area, some packages collected by Swiss Post on Friday are not delivered until Tuesday.

--> For orders placed on Friday before 12.30pm requiring delivery on Saturday morning, add the Swiss Express "Moon" stamp to your basket! 

Economy - Swiss Post

Your package will be delivered anywhere in Switzerland within two or three working days (Monday to Friday).


Bubble Envelope B5 Midi - Letter A (without tracking)

This low-cost shipping option at CHF 4.90 is available for a selection of products, with size and weight restrictions, and was launched in October 2023 as part of an initial test phase. We will gradually expand the list of products eligible for this convenient shipping method. Please note that tracking is not available for this shipping option. Please read our terms and conditions carefully before finalising your order.

By choosing to ship in a bubble envelope, we reduce the use of packaging and cushioning. However, please note that due to this choice of lighter packaging, there is a slightly increased risk that some products may be slightly flattened during transit.

If this option is available for the items you have chosen, it will appear in the shipping options when you finalise your order. Thank you for your understanding and support in our efforts to reduce our environmental impact while offering you affordable and convenient shipping solutions.

In-store collection Geneva / Click & Collect

Choose your items, pay for your order and we will prepare it to be collected in-store during opening hours. You will receive an email to confirm that your order is ready to be collected. We usually prepare your order in less than 2 hours. We do not charge delivery costs for this method – it is up to you to come to our store. If you accidentally choose this option, please contact us to cancel the order.
If the order is not picked up after two weeks, it will be cancelled and refunded.
