Easily create the best base for your cake with the FunCakes mix for Glutenfree Sponge Cake. With this easy to prepare baking mix you can make fluffy, high and even sponge cakes of confectioner quality. Only add eggs and water to the mixture and, if you wish, grated lemon zest or a FunCakes flavour paste. You will bake a beautifully flat and tasty cake which you can then decorate in any way you wish.
The FunCakes gluten free mixes are produced in a gluten free facility. FunCakes can guarantee that the mixes contain less than 20mg / 20ppm gluten per kg. Most people with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity will not get any symptoms with this low quantity. Preparation: Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 165°C). Ingredients need to be at room temperature. For one Ø20 cm cake, mix 250 g mix, 230 g eggs (4½ pcs), and 20 ml water in a bowl. Mix at high speed for 8-10 minutes. Then mix at low speed for another 2-3 minutes. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan (1/2 to 2/3 full). Place the cake in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. Don’t open it during baking! The cake is ready when it feels springy to the touch. Release the cake immediately after baking and let it cool down on a cake grid.
