PME Petal Powder tylo is used to harden fondant and marzipan and make it firmer for modeling purposes. It is perfect for figures, flowers with rims that stand up or for example to stand letters or numbers upright on your cake.

Preparation: You need about 2 teaspoons of CMC for 500 grams of marzipan or fondant. Knead the powder into the fondant well leave to rest for a minimum of 2 hours (make sure you wrap the paste up air-tight). After this is will be fine to knead and perfect to shape. It will become more firm after modelling. The mixture with fondant is usually referred to as modelling paste.

Tip: You can also use the petal powder to make edible glue. Mix the tylo with some water. Let this substance rest for at least 1 hour before using it. Homemade glue has a shorter shelf life.

Ingredients: Sodium Carboxymethylcellulos. Suitable for vegetarians.

Contents: 55 gram. Packed in a reclose able plastic jar.
